Baby Hermann Tortoises, hatched August 2026

Baby Hermann Tortoises for sale. They hatched on 2 August. They are healthy and lively, eating well, enjoying a daily bath and ready soon for their new homes. The new owner would need to show us evidence their set-up for the little ones and demonstrate that they are able to look after them. These make great pets but they are, obviously, a long-term commitment. We are not professional breeders, but have two happy tortoises who have laid eggs. The babies would have to be collected from our home, we do not send them by post.

Please note that I have had it confirmed in writing from the CITES Licensing Case Officer at the Centre for International Trade that as of 23 June 2026, Hermann Tortoises have been added to CITES Annex X and no longer require an application for an Article 10 certificate. These tortoises will come with copies of their parent's certificate, breeding record and purchase receipt so that the purchase (and sale) of these tortoises is completely legal without the Article 10 certificate. The certificate number provided here is of the parent.
